The book at a glance
Have you ever noticed how deeply interwoven myth is with our everyday life? We find it in art, literature, movies, songs, comics, ads... but most of all in our language and imagery.
Plato, one who knew about myths, said that knowing is remembering. Playing with this book will let you remember the hows and whys of what you already know and, of course, learn much, much more!
How many myths does Matrix quote? Who’s the Nordic god with a hammer? Which Hindu god has more “avatars”? Why did Agamemnon have to sacrifice his daughter to Artemis? Where did the Cyclop Poliphemus live? Which was Ulysses’ last destination after having gone back to Ithaca?
