The book at a glance
When we think about scientists the image that immediately comes to our minds is of very serious people, if not even nerd. But sometimes, while reading some academic journals, it is possible to bump into works like “Chicken Plucking as Measure of Tornado Wind Speed” or “The Brand Personality of Rocks: A Critical Evaluation of a Brand Personality Scale”, both written by authorithative and respected researchers.
When we finished laughing (because this is the usual reaction in front of these titles), we may ask to ourselves: What happened to those brilliant scientists? Do they went insane? Are they “mad scientists”?
The best “worst” prizes are here collected, described by Luca Perri and beautifully illustrated by Angelo Adamo, resulting in a very witty and entertaining read.
